Docker centos image pull to download and install

To install Centos on Docker using its minimal image, first, you need to have a Docker installation on your host operating Linux or Ubuntu. After that on the command line use the docker CLI to pull the CentOS.

Command is:

docker pull centos

You can use further tags with this command to instruct the docker what version of the image do you want to download.
Fro example fro getting the latest version of CentOS image on docker using the tag: latest, the command will be like this

docker pull centos:latest

In this way, we can replace the latest tag with others. The available tags are:
