For installing docker composer on Linux or Ubuntu, first, we need to have a Docker engine environment on that system.

After that use, the below commands to setup Docker compose on Ubuntu for carrying out any meaningful task.
Download the current stable release of Docker Compose:
sudo curl -L "https://github.com/docker/compose/releases/download/1.24.0/docker-compose-$(uname -s)-$(uname -m)" -o /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
Change the permissions to the binary:
sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose
create a symbolic link
sudo ln -s /usr/local/bin/docker-compose /usr/bin/docker-compose
Check docker Compose instalaltion is working or not
